Happy Fall Friends! The fall is an incredible time in Avon for enjoying crisp air, beach walks, good surfing and fishing conditions, and the savory, spicy, and warm flavors that Pangea Tavern’s new menu brings! Our goal at Pangea Tavern is touse ingredients sourced as locally as possible, including our 14 North Carolina craft beers on tap! We believe that good food and drink consists of delicious flavors, artfully combined ingredients, and care by those who create and serve your meals, and that’s exactly what we did with our fall menu. We not only want our customers at Pangea Tavern to know that their meals are artfully created, but we want them to taste the flavors of the season in each bite. We incorporated fresh fall-season seafood that is caught off Hatteras' shores in dishes such as local Bluefish in our Bluefish Pâté. We utilized fruity fall flavors such as crisp Granny Smith apples, tart cranberries, and sweet caramelized pecans in our new Via Verdi Salad. As well as, using warming spices and tender textures that make up dishes such as our Chipotle Shrimp Parmesan and Mediterranean Blackened Salmon.
